The government is going to create a new aquaculture company.

The company has been successful in the development and faming of the European fish (the Danish fish), the local Sibeti fish, Hamur fish and the Asian prawn, the company is now carrying out studies and researches and contracts with foreign companies in order to start cultivating new varieties such as European bass, In the production of Asian bass and Hamur as well as other kinds of fish.
The company has been able to select the best breeds and keep them to be a good stock of mothers for the fish of sea prime, sea bass, hamur and syabati, which will be deposited in the company's hatchery for breeding and to obtain the fingerlings (larvae). The company is now importing the requirements that are needed in these operations from outside the kingdom of Saudi Arabia from European and Asian countries because of the lack of sources of larvae within the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Types of fish farming :
1) European Sea Bream
The fish was chosen for its culture in the North Sea Red Sea and free of contaminants because it is one of the best types of fish in the world beside its wonderful taste and tasty because it has a high valuable value of food besides it contains a high percentage of Omega 3.It is also rich in mineral salts, vitamins, calcium and phosphorus.
2) Asian Sea bass
Fish Baramundi is one of the most important fish cultivated in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and has a large number of consumers because of its great size and its wonderful white meat and high nutritional value of phosphorus, vitamins and calcium.
